Our project aims to provide financial institutions with a comprehensive and efficient way to monitor the dynamic and complex financial markets. Partnering with Dow Jones, we gathered over 501'050 news data from the industry and analyzed them in combination with relevant keywords such as "GDP", "inflation", "interest rates", "earning report", "election", "international conflict", "regulatory change" or "acquisition", "merger" and "IPO". By utilizing the Factiva API of Dow Jones, we are able to provide real-time access to this information and improve traditional alert systems by showing correlations to other news and identifying potential impact on specific industry fields. Our project offers a solution for financial services to stay informed and adapt to the ever-changing financial landscape.
