This project was initiated to overhaul the competitive intelligence processes for a prominent telecommunications company with 19,000 employees. Tasked with monitoring 17 global peers, the company needed a robust solution to track technology implementation, expansion plans, market entries, and merger and acquisition activities. Existing tools, restricted by their reliance on centralized data sources and inflexible filters, proved inadequate, often missing crucial information. By developing a custom web crawling solution, we provided a targeted approach that efficiently segregates vital data from irrelevant details, significantly enhancing strategic analysis capabilities.
