Mapping Switzerland's Business Landscape: Identifying Competitors, Partners, and Emerging Companies
The project had the goal of creating a comprehensive map that showcased all active companies in Switzerland, along with information on their purpose and offerings. To achieve this, the project team extracted data from the Swiss Central Business Name Index, which included information on 351,270 companies. The data was then analyzed to draw comparisons between the companies and categorize them based on their offerings. The resulting map provides a valuable resource for businesses and individuals seeking to identify competitors, potential partners, and emerging trends in the Swiss market. By monitoring new companies being founded and companies that are in liquidation, the map also offers insights into the health and vitality of the Swiss business landscape. Overall, the project's goal was to provide a comprehensive overview of the active companies in Switzerland and to help businesses make informed decisions based on the data provided.
